Combo Lab: build your own combo and see its real chance
How it works
- Open Combo Lab. It lists today’s matches that haven’t started yet. You can narrow the list by league.
- Choose a band. Safer uses outcomes priced between 1.15 and 1.50, Medium between 1.50 and 2.00, and All covers both. The band decides what kind of outcome each leg can be.
- Tap the matches you want. For each match, Combo Lab uses one outcome: the one the model rates most likely within your band.
- Read the bar at the bottom. It shows how many legs you have and the combined chance. Tap it to see the whole combo.
Where the number comes from
Each leg’s probability comes from the Edgity model. The combined chance is those probabilities multiplied together, because every leg has to come in. That’s why the number drops quickly as you add legs; the maths is explained in Why three 60% picks don’t make a 60% combo.
The Medium band is stricter. There a leg is only used if it is also the market’s favourite for that market, and its number is adjusted with a calibration measured on past matches. If a match has no outcome that passes, it simply has no leg in that band.
Why only one leg per match
Two outcomes from the same match are linked. If one team dominates, that also changes how many goals are likely. Multiplying linked outcomes would give a number that looks exact but isn’t, so Combo Lab never takes more than one leg from the same match.
The line under the number
Next to the combined chance, Combo Lab adds a short line in plain words, for example “Close to a coin flip, leaning your way” or “A long shot — the model expects this to miss”. Under it: “Model estimate — every leg has to land.”
What Combo Lab doesn’t do
- It doesn’t show a combined price, a potential return or a “value” figure. It shows a probability.
- It doesn’t choose a combo for you or tell you to place anything. You pick the matches; it shows the chance.
- It only works with today’s matches that haven’t started.
