Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This policy explains how cancellation and refunds work for an Edgity subscription. A subscription bought in the Edgity Android app is billed by Google Play (sections 2–4). A subscription bought on the web at edgity.app is sold through Link, Stripe's merchant-of-record service (section 5). Either way, it works in the app and on the web when you sign in with the same account.

In short

Every account can unlock free football matches every day and no payment details are required to use them, so you can evaluate Edgity before you pay anything. For a Google Play subscription, refunds are handled by Google under its refund policy; for a web subscription, you cancel in the web app or in your Link account, and refunds are issued by us or by Link.

1. Free access

Every account can unlock a limited number of football matches each day for free; the current number is shown in the App. For a match you unlock, you see the same match analysis as subscribers, except AI Assist. No payment method is required, and free access never converts into a paid subscription. We may change the number of free matches or what free access includes.

2. Google Play subscriptions: refunds

Subscription payments are processed by Google Play, not by us, and Google's refund policy applies. You can request a refund through your Google Play account (order history) or Google Play support. Google decides refund requests under its own policy.

If Google declines a request you believe is justified — for example a renewal you did not intend and have not used — contact us and we will look at it. Where appropriate, we can issue a refund through Google Play.

3. Google Play subscriptions: renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — weekly, monthly, every three months or annually, depending on the plan you chose — unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Renewal payments are generally non-refundable, because you keep access for the full period you paid for.

4. Google Play subscriptions: cancelling

You can cancel at any time in the Google Play Store: tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Edgity → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then, and you are not charged again.

Cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund. Deleting your Edgity account does not cancel your subscription — cancel it in Google Play as well.

5. Web subscriptions

Who sells it: web subscriptions are sold through Link, Stripe's merchant-of-record service. Your receipt and payment-related support come from Link. The charge appears on your statement as LINK.COM* EDGITY.

Cancelling: in the web app, go to Subscription → Manage subscription, or cancel in your Link account at link.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then, and you are not charged again. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund. Deleting your Edgity account cancels a web subscription automatically, at the latest within one hour.

Withdrawal within 14 days: you may withdraw within 14 days of your first purchase without giving a reason, by emailing us or by contacting Link support. Because at checkout you request that the service starts immediately, you are refunded the amount you paid minus a proportionate amount for the period used until your withdrawal (see section 7.B of our Terms of Service).

Unintended renewal: if a renewal was unintended and you have not used paid features since the renewal, you can ask for a refund of that renewal within 7 days of it.

Refunds by Link: in certain cases, Link may refund a payment on its own decision, within 60 days of the purchase.

A refund ends access: if the payment for the current billing period is refunded, in full or in part, or disputed with your bank, your paid access ends immediately and the web subscription is cancelled.

Failed renewal payment: the payment is retried for up to 7 days, and your access continues during that time. If it still does not go through, the web subscription is cancelled.

Two subscriptions on one account: if your account has both a Google Play and a web subscription, the automatic renewal of the web subscription is stopped. You keep access until the end of the period already paid, and the web subscription is not charged again.

How you get it back: refunds go to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Partial-period refunds are otherwise not provided, except where required by law or where the service was unavailable for an extended period through our fault.

6. Exceptions

We will not support a refund request where:

7. What we do not refund

Edgity is a statistical analytics tool. It calculates probabilities from public data; it does not guarantee outcomes or predict results with certainty. The outcome of a decision you make using the service is not grounds for a refund, and we cannot compensate for any financial decision made using information from the service. This is set out in our Terms of Service.

8. How to contact us

Email us from the address associated with your Edgity account and include your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.) or, for a web subscription, the receipt number from your Link receipt if you have it. We will confirm receipt and aim to respond within 3 business days.

9. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable consumer law. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law applies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Changes are not applied retroactively to refund requests already submitted.
